NEW YORK - Sep. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/- The Israel Ministry of Tourism today announced new records for the number of tourists coming in Israel from the United States in July and august. Israel welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States in July 2022 which is an increase of 4% from 2019, and 71,000 total travelers from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from 2019.
"It is so thrilling to witness a new increase in tourist numbers to Israel from the United States, already reaching and surpassing our record-breaking numbers of 2019." said Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. "The United States has been our largest market for Israel's tourism inbound. Prior to the outbreak of COVID-19 we had been celebrating record-breaking number of Israeli tourism entries each month.
Canada is home to 7200 tourists visiting the country in July 2022, and 6,000 in August isn't much from the United States.
