NEW YORK - Sep. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/ The Israel Ministry of Tourism today released new records for arrivals of tourists in Israel from the United States in July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 American tourists in July 2022. It was a four percent increase from 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in August 2022.

Already reaching and surpassing our record-breaking figure in 2019," he stated. "The United States is the leading market for Israel inbound tourism. In fact, before the COVID-19 pandemic, we were celebrating record-breaking figures of tourist entry each month. This is a positive change that we are pleased to witness and anticipate an upward trajectory for months to be."
Canada, which has 7200 tourists visiting the country in July 2022 and 6,000 in August isn't too far behind the United States.

We're close to reaching our record numbers for 2019, and we are anticipating that this surge in tourism to Israel will continue to increase as Canadians feel more at ease abroad.
Israel received more tourists from all over the world during the year 2019 than any other nation. 969 600 of them were American. נווה פריצקי Israel's official reopening to all travelers was May 2018. The country has already been home to over 600,400 US travelers since then.
